Assignment 1:Preparing for Mentorship

In the First Impressions Podcast, she details the importance of how everyone views others. By discussing how people view others, she repeats that no one should be around the "office slacker" or else they will be labeled as one. Stay arms length from everyone until it is proven that they are not a slacker or gossiper.

The Knowing Your Mentor handout details the importance of how to react when you meet your mentor. Likewise, it discusses questions that you will have to ask your mentor and questions you should be prepared to answer. The handout, also, discusses challenges that will be faced and expectations that need to be met.

• What do you envision gaining from your mentorship?

I envision that I will learn what it takes to be a pharmacist, understand more about medicine, and learn the different medications.

• What actions will you take to ensure you get the most from your experiences?

If any questiona arise, I will ask a pharmacists to help uild my understanding and knowledge. I will continuously attempt to help out as best as I can.

• How is this preparing you for the future?

I am learning the different medicines, what they do, the dosage that people take, and how the drugs affect everyone. By helping the pharmacists, I will gain knowledge about what they do.
