Assignment 6: Work Ethic

After taking the OWEI test, I have realized that I need to have more initiative over tasks that I complete. Given that it is my lowest score out of the three, standing at 5.81 out of 7, there is room for improvement. My highest score is a 6.25 out of 7 in the interpersonal category. This means that I have little improvement that needs to be made in this skill. My last score is 6.14 out of 7 in the dependability category. Overall, my scores are greater than I expected them to be.

According to the test, I have great interpersonal skills. Honestly, this does not shock me. I get along well with most coworkers and am not scared to help or ask for help when needed. However, the initiative score shocked me. I believe that I am very motivated to work and take initiative to do work that others are hesitant to do. Now, I see that I can improve and ensure that I do take initiative. The test scores confirm the belief that I am a dependable worker. When asked to do something, I ensure that I give it my 100% and get it done as soon as possible.
